“The art of simplicity is a puzzle of complexity.” –Douglas Horton

Here at Business Finishing School, we have been teaching and preaching “The Simplicity Imperative” to thousands of people for a very long time.  It didn’t occur to me until recently, how difficult it is for many to fully embrace Simplicity in business and life.   Many of you have pushed back on me, saying “Rick, you preach Simplicity, yet it is nearly impossible to Simplify these days.”  Many of you have called it quits and abandoned the “Call for Simplicity,” and have instead added additional complexity to your life.

I’ve noticed that complexity comes into businesses and families at an accelerated rate when they aren’t crystal clear on their values, and their objectives.  If you’re not clear where you’re going, then everything looks like a decent option, right?

As we all prepare for back-to-school, and back-to-business, it is MORE imperative then ever to sit down with your family, and sit down with your teams at work, and bring CLARITY of values, CLARITY of purpose, CLARITY of objectives, and CLARITY of simplicity in everything you do.  Make that commitment now.

This time of year, in my opinion, is far more important than the January 1st, New Years Rush, because you will see a more immediate impact of this shift once the busy-ness of post Labor Day comes into full view.

Come join me at the Business Growth Summit in September and learn how to put Simplicity, Probability and Leverage on the ground in all aspects of your life. Click here to register now.
